The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aerts lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kikkas circles away quickly and effectively.

Aerts lands with a nice combination. Kikkas backs away looking to recover.
Aerts lands with a hook. Kikkas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Kikkas is trying desperately to land a takedown but Aerts is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kikkas.

Aerts lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kikkas is defended easily by Aerts.
Aerts wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Both fighters circling a little - Aerts finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kikkas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Aerts scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Aerts scores with a hook to the body. Kikkas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Aerts catches Kikkas with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kikkas takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Aerts moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Aerts lands with a straight right. Kikkas didn't see that one coming.
Aerts cracks a nice hook into Kikkas's ribs.

Whack! Aerts lands a heavy head kick that drops Kikkas. The ref tackles Aerts to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Kikkas was done.
