Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bogdan Wasilcov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wasilcov wants to clinch but Imanari slips to the side

and Imanari counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wasilcov's guard now.
Wasilcov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Imanari is controlling him.

Imanari postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Wasilcov has momentary wrist control but Imanari slips an elbow through the middle.
Imanari stops Wasilcov from standing up.
Imanari scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Imanari is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Imanari seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Imanari distracts Wasilcov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Wasilcov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Imanari on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Imanari connects with a nice short shot to Wasilcov's temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Imanari is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wasilcov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Imanari.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yoshihiro Imanari.
Imanari looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wasilcov is fending him off so far but Imanari persists. Nope, Wasilcov circles away and we're back to standing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wasilcov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Imanari's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wasilcov is sitting in close to Imanari's body. Imanari has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wasilcov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wasilcov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Imanari.
