Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roc Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Starr comes to the cage accompanied by Rockstar. Desmond Miles is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Starr both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Desmond Miles has been cut.
Starr lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Starr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miles sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Starr misses with a jab, cross combination.
Starr cracks Miles with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Starr misses the jab.
Miles throws a right and a left that both miss.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Miles.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Miles thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Starr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miles on the ground.

Miles in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Miles stands up and beckons Starr to his feet.
Starr lands with a cross.
Starr scores with a nice strike.

Starr ducks under a wild hook from Miles.

Starr throws a lazy right hand but Miles sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Miles takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Starr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Starr takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Roc Starr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Roc Starr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Miles will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Miles shoots in and drives through. Starr sprawls well.

Miles changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Starr looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ground and pound from Miles seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Miles just content to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miles's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Starr wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Starr is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Desmond Miles dominated that round.

Starr is bucking up trying to escape but Miles cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Starr avoids a series of strikes thrown by Miles.

Miles fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Miles wants to control the pace but Starr is squirming around nicely.

Miles with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Starr is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Desmond Miles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Starr throws the left hand but Miles avoids the punch easily.
Miles ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Miles staying out of range there.
Starr pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Starr. Miles does a little dance to reset his feet.
Starr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miles moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Miles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Starr's waist but Starr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miles off to one side.
Miles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Starr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Miles shoots in looking for a takedown. Starr tries to sprawl out of it but Miles keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Starr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Roc Starr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desmond Miles.
Starr throws a looping overhand right but Miles ducks down to avoid it.

Miles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Miles throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miles throws a strike aimed at the side of Starr's head but Starr avoids it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miles connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Starr some visible discomfort.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Starr is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Desmond Miles is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Desmond Miles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
