The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodi connects with a right hand. Redfield shakes it off.
Redfield tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bodi swivels and escapes.
Bodi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Redfield tries to clinch there but Bodi circles away.
Redfield is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Redfield misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Bodi.
Redfield blocks a head kick by Bodi.
Bodi connects with a leg kick. Redfield looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Redfield closes the distance and clinches up with Bodi, looking for a takedown. Redfield pushes Bodi against the cage but Bodi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bodi moves out of range of the body kick from Redfield.

Redfield on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bodi scores with a kick to the body.
Redfield tries to move into range but Bodi moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bodi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Redfield.
Sergio Bodi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Redfield.
Bodi throws a head kick that misses.
Redfield shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Redfield is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bodi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Redfield takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Bodi counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Redfield thinking.

Redfield stuffs the takedown attempt from Bodi. Bodi gets slowly back to his feet.
Redfield takes one on the button.
Redfield takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bodi throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Redfield is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bodi throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bodi throws a shot to the body.

Bodi has managed to clinch.

Bodi manages to break the clinch.

Bodi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Redfield wants to control but Bodi is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bodi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Redfield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Redfield is looking to improve his position.

Sergio Bodi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Bodi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Redfield looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Bodi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bodi gets to his feet - Redfield follows without any prompting.

Bodi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Redfield!

Bodi gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick by Redfield misses
and Bodi counters with a crisp right that sends Redfield to the canvas! Bodi follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
