The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott looks to land a combination but Hansen avoids it well.
Hansen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hansen. Scott does a little dance to reset his feet.

Scott dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hansen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Hansen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hansen throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Scott on the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hansen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hansen lands a head shot.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hansen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Scott throws a series of punches but Hansen moves out of range.
Scott lands with a straight right. Hansen didn't see that one coming.
Ronald Belford Scott seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hansen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Oooooh!!! Scott has knocked Hansen down with a huge combo! Scott steps away and waves a wobbly Hansen back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Scott lands a left and a right that send Hansen crashing to the mat, dazed. Scott thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hansen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Scott counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Hansen out cold! What a finish! Scott is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
