Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaver gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Shaver scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Rick Killroy has been cut.
Killroy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Killroy prevents a body shot from Shaver.
Shaver is pressed up against the cage. Killroy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shaver down to the mat. Shaver avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Killroy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shaver is looking to clinch but Killroy is avoiding it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Killroy wants to hit a switch here but Shaver passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Killroy there!

Shaver misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Killroy is trying to reverse the position but instead Shaver has taken his back - oops!
Killroy is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shaver gets his way!

Shaver lands an elbow inside that Killroy shrugs off.

Killroy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Killroy tries to stand but Shaver is controlling from the bottom.

Killroy is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Shaver to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Shaver has Killroy pulled in close to control his posture.

Shaver moves in looking to clinch but Killroy pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Killroy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shaver rushes Killroy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Killroy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Shaver smiles and moves away.
Killroy shoots in for a takedown but Shaver shows good takedown defense.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rick Killroy will probably get the nod.

Shaver seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Shaver closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Killroy did well to prevent Shaver getting side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shaver has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Killroy! Can he survive? No! He's out! Shaver gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
