Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.

Nash breaks from the clinch.
A head kick misses from Nash.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nash's waist but Nash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nash is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A combination from Nash does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Donk. Jones catches Nash right on the button with a cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nash looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones fails with the takedown.

Nash clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Nash misses with a jab, cross combination.

Nice takedown defense from Nash. No joy for Jones on that attempt.

Nash shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Nash postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.

Nash bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones scores with a couple of good head shots there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jones landing strikes from the mount and Nash is in trouble!
Nash is trying desperately to improve position.
Jones tries to control but Nash wriggling away.
Nash is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nash is bucking up trying to escape but Jones cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Jones swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Nash is now in Jones's guard. A big mistake from Jones there, giving up the dominant position!

Nash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Jones has his foot on Nash's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Nash works his way back into a safe position though.

Nash gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Jones has his takedown stuffed

and Nash counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jones makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jones.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jones trying to control the action but Nash is working from the bottom.
Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jones passes to full mount!
BOOM! Jones connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jones lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nash taking shots to the head.
Jones wants to control the pace but Nash is squirming around nicely.
Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Jones looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nash decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jones manages to get to full guard.
Jones is trying to control the position but Nash postures up.
Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
Jones throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Nash postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nash, into his guard.

Nash lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!
Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nash working for a submission but Jones is keeping him at bay.
Jones wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Nash.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Nash goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Nash's guard.
Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jones trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nash's guard.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nash swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones postures up in Nash's guard and throws a big left but Nash blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nash lands a good elbow from the bottom.
Nash wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it.
Nash looking to control.

Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nash is on top in guard.
Jones utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Nash forces his way into half guard.
Nash looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Nash passes into side control, despite Jones's attempt to control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nash postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jones misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Nash looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nash stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.

Nash closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nash lands in his opponent's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Eddie Nash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
