Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Louie Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Louie Cane had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cane gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Patterson to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cane has his foot on Patterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Patterson works his way back into a safe position though.
Cane can't keep his opponent in guard - Patterson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Patterson is looking to take a break and control but Cane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Patterson wants to work for an arm triangle but Cane is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Patterson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Patterson.
