The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Colt lands a left and a right that send Krause crashing to the mat, dazed. Colt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Krause is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Colt misses with the combination.
Krause is still on wobbly legs! Can Colt finish him?
Colt falls off balance throwing a combination

and Krause counters with a takedown into side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Colt is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Colt makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Krause tries to sprawl but Colt drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Krause wants to control but Colt is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Colt lands a nice short elbow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Krause can do anything to dispel that myth.
Krause is looking to escape.

Colt decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Krause clinches up with Colt and pushes him back against the cage.

Rad Colt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Herbert Krause.

Colt cracks Krause with a big right hand but Krause just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Colt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Krause to his feet.
Colt looks to land a combination but Krause avoids it well.

Colt drops Krause with a beautiful combination! Krause stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Colt is looking for the KO!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Colt knocks out Krause with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Colt before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Colt picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rad Colt!
A very excited looking Rad Colt rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
