PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frederick Kromer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smooth Operator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kromer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cold As Ice. Operator has chosen Beautiful in Blue alesana as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Operator has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kromer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Operator has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Operator looks gassed!
Kromer is looking to slow Operator down with leg kicks.
Kromer lands with a shot to the body.
Operator tries to move into range but Kromer moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Kromer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kromer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kromer connects with a good right hand that stumbles Operator. Operator circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kromer keeps Operator at a distance using the push kick.
Kromer lands an overhand right.
Kromer connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kromer cracks the inside of Operator's front leg.
Kromer throws a right hand that Operator ducks under and follows up with a left that Operator also avoids with ease.
Kromer delivers a nice body kick.
Operator steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kromer. That one must have hurt.
Kromer scores with a nice right hand.

Operator is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Operator crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kromer - the referee stops the clock and Operator gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kromer. Operator manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Operator is still on wobbly legs! Can Kromer finish him?
Kromer closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Operator! Kromer dives in looking to finish! Operator is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
