The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Overeem. Those never looked like landing.
Yablonski moves into range and clinches up with Overeem.
Yablonski tries to pull guard but Overeem won't allow it.
Yablonski breaks from the clinch.
Overeem tries to clinch up but Yablonski circles away and keeps his distance.
Fedor Overeem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yablonski dives in and grabs Overeem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Overeem pushes down on Yablonski's head and hops out.
Overeem lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Overeem throws a series of punches but Yablonski avoids them all with ease.
Yablonski throws a head kick but Overeem moves out of range.
Overeem connects with a nice looking jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Overeem steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Yablonski is out on his feet! Overeem sets himself and nearly takes Yablonski's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
