The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lodin lands with a nice body punch.
Zbogdanca uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lodin.
Zbogdanca misses with a straight right.
Zbogdanca closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lodin circles away.
Lodin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lodin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lodin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zbogdanca.
Lodin digs a good body shot into Zbogdanca's ribs.

Zbogdanca shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lodin as he jumps to the side.
Frank Lodin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zbyszko Zbogdanca.

Lodin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zbogdanca to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Lodin pulls Zbogdanca in close to his closed guard and prevents Zbogdanca from doing any damage or advancing position.
Lodin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Zbogdanca bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Zbogdanca has gone for a leg lock! Lodin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Zbogdanca's guard.

Zbogdanca isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lodin stacks Zbogdanca on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lodin!

Lodin decides to stand back up.
Zbogdanca on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lodin. Lodin obviously looking to wear him down.

Lodin catches Zbogdanca with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lodin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Zbogdanca crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lodin - the referee stops the clock and Zbogdanca gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lodin. Zbogdanca manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Lodin moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Lodin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zbogdanca's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lodin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Zbogdanca scrambles back to his feet.
Lodin dips to his left and cracks Zbogdanca with an uppercut!
Frank Lodin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lodin scores with a hook to the body. Zbogdanca takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lodin lands a nice shot to the body.
Lodin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lodin lands a lovely overhand right.

The cut above Zbyszko Zbogdanca's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Lodin cracks Zbogdanca with an open hand slap.
Lodin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lodin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zbogdanca has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Zbyszko Zbogdanca's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Lodin lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Lodin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lodin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zbyszko Zbogdanca's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
