The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Nielsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Taylor which made him look bad.
Nielsen is trying hard to land a takedown here. Taylor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nielsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Taylor sprawls well. He's pushed Nielsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Elias Nielsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut there from Taylor.

Taylor drops Nielsen with a beautiful combination! Nielsen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Taylor is looking for the KO!

Taylor lands a left and a right that send Nielsen crashing to the mat, dazed. Taylor thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

A big right followed by a crushing left from Taylor knocks Nielsen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
