Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takefumi Mori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniel Larusso will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mori fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mori fails to land the takedown.
Larusso keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takefumi Mori. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Larusso stuffs the takedown.
Mori looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Larusso is fending him off so far but Mori persists. Nope, Larusso circles away and we're back to standing.
Larusso stuffs the takedown attempt from Mori. Mori gets slowly back to his feet.
Mori is breathing heavily.
Mori will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Larusso dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Larusso closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Larusso lands in his opponent's guard.
Mori preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Larusso has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mori had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Larusso is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mori Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Larusso's back instead.

Mori is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Larusso with him. Larusso is trying to defend but Mori has an arm under the chin now! Larusso grimaces and is forced to tap out!
