Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Charriot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Yankowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yankowy is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 1000 Flamen. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charriot throws a looping overhand right but Yankowy ducks down to avoid it.
Charriot throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Charriot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yankowy doesn't seem bothered though.
Charriot lands a nice shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Charriot.
Yankowy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Charriot finds it's way round the side to connect with Yankowy's head.
Charriot throws a head kick that misses.
Charriot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Charriot cracks the inside of Yankowy's front leg.
Yankowy slips a jab and a cross from Charriot.
Yankowy takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Yankowy ducks under a wild hook from Charriot.
Yankowy shoots in looking for a takedown. Charriot tries to sprawl out of it but Yankowy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Charriot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Charriot throws a hook but Yankowy avoids it easily.

Charriot lands a left and a right that send Yankowy crashing to the mat, dazed. Charriot thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Yankowy is rocked!

It looks like Jon Yankowy has been cut.
Charriot lands a nice hook to Yankowy's body. Yankowy takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Yankowy is still on wobbly legs! Can Charriot finish him?
Charriot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Yankowy seems to have recovered his senses.

Charriot fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Yankowy on the side of the head.
Yankowy fails with a takedown attempt.
Charriot dodges the punch combination from Yankowy.
Charriot looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Charriot listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Charriot is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Charriot fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Charriot misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yankowy.
Yankowy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Charriot is fending him off so far but Yankowy persists. Nope, Charriot circles away and we're back to standing.
Steve Charriot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Yankowy.
Charriot lands with an overhand left.
Yankowy drops his hands momentarily and Charriot takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Yankowy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yankowy fails with the takedown.
Charriot is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yankowy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Yankowy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Charriot cracks Yankowy with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Yankowy falls to his knees and Charriot doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
