The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morgan tries to avoid it but Mitchell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morgan to the ground. Morgan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Morgan throws a head kick that misses.
Good leg kick by Morgan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Morgan lands a high kick to the side of Mitchell's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Morgan dives into guard, looking to finish.

Mitchell is rocked!

It looks like Evan Mitchell has been cut.
Morgan pushes down on Mitchell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Mitchell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Morgan stands up from half guard.
Mitchell shoots in but Morgan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
No luck for Mitchell with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evan Mitchell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morgan lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Mitchell crumples to the floor! Morgan milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
