Hadith comes to the cage accompanied by Aces High - Iron Maiden. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Tavarez has closed the distance and engaged Hadith in a clinch.

Hadith avoids a wild elbow strike from Tavarez.
Tavarez lands a knee to the body.
Tavarez tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hadith wants a takedown.

Tavarez drops Hadith with a big knee straight up the middle! Hadith is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hadith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Tavarez. Tavarez circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Tavarez drops Hadith with a big knee straight up the middle! Hadith is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Hadith is rocked!
Tavarez lands a jab to Hadith's midsection.
Oh Hadith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hadith is breathing heavily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hadith seems to have got his legs back now.

Tavarez has Hadith pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Hadith is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Tavarez - that's hurt Hadith badly! Oh, another knee lands and Hadith is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Hadith doesn't seem to be complaining.
