Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moses Testament (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rock comes to the cage accompanied by Shake That ass For Me - Eminem ft. Nate Dogg. Moses Testament is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Testament clinches.
Rock lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Moses Testament has been cut.
Testament has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Testament stalling in the clinch but Rock improves position.

Rock has picked Testament up - he's going for a ride! Rock dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rock stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Testament clinches with his opponent.
Testament's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Testament presses Rock against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Testament avoiding damage.

Testament pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Testament throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Rock swats away the attempt to clinch by Testament.
Rock moves out of range of the body kick.

Testament scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Jay Rock has been cut.
Rock dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Testament tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Testament will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rock scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Testament.
Rock misses with a kick to the body.
Testament tries to clinch there but Rock circles away.

Rock has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rock blocks an uppercut.
Testament tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rock just stands there and leans against the cage.

Rock breaks the clinch.
Testament misses with a combination
and Rock makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Testament really felt that one!
Testament looks gassed!
Testament is looking to clinch.
Rock scores with a shot to the body.

Rock moves into range and clinches up with Testament.

Rock has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Testament regains guard immediately.
Rock trying to stand up but can't free himself from Testament's guard.
Rock advances position into side control!

Rock stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Rock drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rock stands and steps away. Testament gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Rock swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Testament counters with a stiff right hand.
Testament falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Rock to counter with a crisp jab.
Testament throws a low kick but Rock avoids it.
Testament throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rock makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rock scores with a jab. Testament acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Testament gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Testament tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Rock is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Testament buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Testament!! Testament is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Rock throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Rock!
After the fight, Jay Rock was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
