The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brizuela's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Brizuela slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Brizuela keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully.
Brizuela looking for a sweep. Not yet Brizuela, not yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brizuela is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Brizuela has King pulled in close to control his posture.
King content to stall in guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A punch combination from Brizuela misses.
King looks to land a left hand but Brizuela moved out of range nicely.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brizuela moves away.

Brizuela closes the distance and pushes King back into the cage.
Brizuela with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
King lands a hook that snaps the head of Brizuela backwards.
King misses with some punches.
King fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

King doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
King swings wildly with an uppercut but Brizuela uses good head movement to avoid it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Brizuela throws an elbow but misses.
Brizuela lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Brizuela throws a knee to the head but misses.
Brizuela comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like Canyon Mikel Scott King has been cut.
Brizuela gets through King's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brizuela lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
King can't find room to land a body shot as Brizuela controls the action.
King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brizuela is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
King misses with a punch on the inside.
Brizuela connects with a nasty looking knee right to King's face.
Brizuela connects with a knee to the head.

Brizuela drops King onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! King is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

King is rocked!

Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are playing wrist control here with King pressed against the cage. Brizuela frees himself up and cracks Brizuela with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! King crumples to the floor, out cold! Brizuela jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
