Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by F**king Hostile. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Badr Hari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Herman Holmes!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hari throws a hook to the side of Holmes's head but Holmes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hari throws a leg kick
and Holmes counters by moving into the clinch.
Holmes breaks from the clinch.
Holmes doesn't manage to clinch there - Hari circles away.
Hari misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hari connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Holmes has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hari.
Hari pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hari misses with a low kick as Holmes jumps back.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hari.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hari fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Holmes has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Holmes looks gassed!
Holmes walks forward, straight into a front kick from Hari.
Hari punishes Holmes's body with a nice straight punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hari throws a body kick that misses.
Holmes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hari moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hari scoring well with a low kick there.
Hari misses with a leg kick.
Nice body punch from Hari.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hari throws a head kick but Holmes moves out of range.
A lazy left from Hari finds it's target.
It looks like Herman Holmes has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Hari.
Holmes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Hari.
Hari scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Holmes doesn't seem bothered though.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hari, as that shot connected.
Hari tries to land a leg kick but Holmes saw it coming and moves away.
Hari attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hari buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hari scores with a jab. Holmes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Hari scores with a push kick.
Hari cracks Holmes with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Holmes looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hari finish him?
Holmes is rocked!
That has opened up Herman Holmes's cut even more.
Hari pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holmes is still on wobbly legs! Can Hari finish him?
Hari moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hari.
Holmes wants to stay close but Hari steps back to make room for something. Holmes seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Hari and Holmes drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Badr Hari!
Badr Hari decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
