The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orion fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brock connects with a jab.
Metarmos Orion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brock throws a nice looking combination but Orion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Orion misses with a series of wild punches.
Orion tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Brock paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Orion misses with a wild body shot.
Orion swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice body punch from Orion.
Brock displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Orion throws out the jab.

and Brock counters with a nice uppercut.

Brock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Orion scores with a jab.
Orion throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brock takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brock slips a straight right by Orion.
Brock paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Orion waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brock.
Orion looks to land a left hand but Brock moved out of range nicely.
Brock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Orion circles away.
Brock slips a jab and a cross from Orion.
Metarmos Orion is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Orion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Orion wants it to stay on the feet.
Orion throws a hook but Brock blocks it.
Orion throws out a loose jab but Brock uses good head movement to avoid it.
Brock misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Metarmos Orion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Brock.
Orion misses the body punch
and Brock counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Orion! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Brock!
