Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Felix Cardosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Levchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roman Levchenko will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Felix Cardosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Levchenko!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardosa throws a series of punches but Levchenko moves out of range.
Cardosa closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Levchenko, right into the meat.
Levchenko shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Levchenko takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Levchenko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Cardosa.
Cardosa looks to throw the jab but Levchenko is out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Levchenko stuffs the takedown.
Cardosa shoots in but no luck this time.
Cardosa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cardosa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Cardosa keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Levchenko.
Levchenko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cardosa.
Levchenko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Levchenko misses with a hook. Cardosa ducked under it nicely.

Cardosa slips a jab from Levchenko.
Cardosa shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Levchenko as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Felix Cardosa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick by Cardosa misses
and Levchenko counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Cardosa misses with a double jab.
Cardosa throws a leg kick
and Cardosa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Levchenko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cardosa.
Levchenko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cardosa.
Cardosa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Levchenko counters with a slapping leg kick.
Cardosa misses with a double jab.
Cardosa dives in and grabs Levchenko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Levchenko pushes down on Cardosa's head and hops out.
Levchenko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cardosa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Levchenko looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cardosa misses with a body shot.

Cardosa lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fighters circling - Cardosa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Roman Levchenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Levchenko jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cardosa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Levchenko.
Levchenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Cardosa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cardosa digs a good body shot into Levchenko's ribs.
Levchenko throws a big shot that misses.
A swing and a miss from Cardosa.
Levchenko looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Levchenko moves to clinch but Cardosa breaks away
and Cardosa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Cardosa throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cardosa just misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Donk. Cardosa catches Levchenko right on the button with a cross.
Cardosa lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cardosa blocks a jab.
Cardosa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Felix Cardosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cardosa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Levchenko gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Cardosa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cardosa.
Cardosa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Levchenko pinned against the cage. Levchenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cardosa throws a head kick that misses
and Levchenko counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Levchenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Cardosa circles away.
Cardosa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Levchenko slips under a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A jab from Cardosa finds it's way through Levchenko's defenses.
Cardosa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
An inside leg kick lands from Levchenko.
Levchenko connects with a jab.
Cardosa slips under a jab.
Levchenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Levchenko throws a hook but Cardosa blocks it.
Levchenko swings widly with a right hand
and Levchenko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cardosa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Levchenko defends it nicely.
Levchenko misses with a hook. Cardosa ducked under it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Levchenko connects with a solid leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Felix Cardosa dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Levchenko throws a body punch but Cardosa moves out of range.

Cardosa is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cardosa is defended easily by Levchenko.

Levchenko throws a body punch but Cardosa moves out of range.
Cardosa wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Cardosa moves out of range of the strikes.

Cardosa lands a left and a right that send Levchenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Cardosa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Levchenko is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cardosa throws a shot from downtown. Levchenko moves away and avoids it.
Levchenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Cardosa finish him?
Cardosa looks to land a right hand but Levchenko moved out of range.
Cardosa throws an overhand right that drops Levchenko like a sack of potatoes! Cardosa dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felix Cardosa!
