Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Struker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joulu Pukki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pukki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Struker.
Pukki shoots in and gets a takedown into Struker's guard.
Struker keeping moving, preventing Pukki from controlling successfully.
Pukki with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pukki trying to control but Struker is working from the bottom.
Pukki postures up and lands a big shot to Struker's brow.
Struker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Struker can't keep his opponent in guard - Pukki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pukki uses his free foot to push down on Struker's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Struker.
Pukki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Struker is looking to escape.
Struker is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Struker really wants to buck Pukki off and get back to his feet.
Struker is squirming around, avoiding Pukki's attempts to control the action.
Pukki lands a big shot there that rocks Struker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The referee warns Struker that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pukki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Struker has worked his arm free - good work by Struker!
Pukki has hold of Struker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Struker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Pukki cranks the arm and Struker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Struker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Joulu Pukki!
