The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Johnson is looking to clinch.
Johnson misses with a series of wild punches.
Ryan shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Ryan shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
Matt Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Connor Ryan.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Ryan is avoiding it.
Johnson tries to clinch but Ryan is having none of it.
Ryan avoids the head kick by Johnson.
Johnson stuffs the takedown.

Johnson pushes Ryan up against the cage in a clinch.
Ryan takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Connor Ryan has been cut.
Ryan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Johnson stalls.
Ryan goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Johnson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Ryan colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Johnson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Ryan is left battered and dazed whilst Johnson and his camp cheer!
