The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Meter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Meter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Cole is proving hard to escape from.

Meter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cole was covering up waiting for the punch and Meter finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cole has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Meter is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cole yanks on the arm and Meter is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cole.
