The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukkeli is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romero.
Kuukkeli takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Kuukkeli gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Still in the clinch, Kuukkeli scores with a nice short uppercut.

Kuukkeli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Romero cracks Kuukkeli with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Romero slips a jab and a cross from Kuukkeli.
Kuukkeli slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A big left from Romero misses.
Romero looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Romero gets the takedown into side control.
Kuukkeli is not content to let Romero control the position.
Kuukkeli is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Kuukkeli is trying to control Romero's posture but Romero avoids it.
Romero has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Kuukkeli is looking to improve his position but Romero isn't that keen on the idea.
