Gabonica kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Reptile by Skrillex. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kinesa Cali!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cali takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Good leg kick by Gabonica there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cali throws a body punch but Gabonica moves out of range.
Cali has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gabonica.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cali takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Cali looks gassed!
Gabonica pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Gabonica looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cali!

Gabonica looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Cali is in a horrible position here. Gabonica smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Kinesa Cali has been cut.
Gabonica lands a big shot there that rocks Cali but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Gabonica pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The cut above Kinesa Cali's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gabonica lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Cali! Gabonica sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Cali and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
