Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Braulio Estima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Fire by The Roots kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Braulio Estima has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estima throws a lazy uppercut

and Simpson counters with a shoot takedown. Estima fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Estima is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Simpson defends well.
Simpson pushes down on Estima's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Estima avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Simpson.
Simpson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Estima does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Estima is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Simpson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Simpson's back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Estima's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Estima is persistently looking for the submission but Simpson is defending it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Estima looking to break Simpson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Simpson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Estima will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Estima is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Simpson with him. Simpson is trying to defend but Estima has an arm under the chin now! Simpson grimaces and is forced to tap out!
