Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hannibal Lecter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Silva!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lecter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lecter fails to land the takedown.
Silva wants to clinch.
Lecter drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lecter trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Lecter passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lecter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silva is proving hard to escape from.
Silva has momentary wrist control but Lecter slips an elbow through the middle.

Lecter stands up over Silva, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lecter landing with the ground and pound.
Lecter postures up.
Lecter's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lecter pushing down on Silva's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lecter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Silva with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Silva blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lecter.
Lecter blocks the strikes from Silva.
Lecter trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
Lecter not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Lecter is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Silva is looking to improve his position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lecter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Lecter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Silva defend it? Lecter steps over the head and cranks it - Silva is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lecter!
