The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jay misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Jay tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Jay cracks Moreira with a big right hand but Moreira just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Jay tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jay has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jay has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Moreira is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jay yanks on the arm and Moreira is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jay.

A relieved looking Dave Jay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
