Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santa Claus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulie Walnutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walnutz moves into the clinch.
Walnutz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Horrible takedown by Claus or perhaps it was just good defense by Walnutz which made him look bad.
Walnutz lands with a kick to the ribs.
Claus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walnutz is fending him off so far but Claus persists. Nope, Walnutz circles away and we're back to standing.
Walnutz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Claus, pushing him back against the cage.
Walnutz lands a shot to the body.
Walnutz lands a body shot in the clinch.
Walnutz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
No joy there for Walnutz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Walnutz takes the fight into the clinch.
Walnutz using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Walnutz lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Claus fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Santa Claus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Walnutz lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Santa Claus has been cut.
A short uppercut from Walnutz.
Walnutz breaks the clinch.
Walnutz thows a body kick. Claus tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Claus is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Walnutz moves into range and clinches up with Claus.
Walnutz landing knees to the head.
Walnutz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Claus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Walnutz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Claus.
Walnutz punishes Claus's body with a nice straight punch.
Walnutz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Walnutz clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A shot in the inside from Walnutz.
Nice elbow from Walnutz.
Claus is rocked!
Walnutz lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Oh Claus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Walnutz lands a nice shot to the body.
Walnutz lands a hook to the side of the head.
Walnutz manages to break the clinch.
Walnutz lands a hook that stumbles Claus back into the cage. Walnutz follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Claus to the canvas! Walnutz pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Claus has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
