Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Becker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Caldwell!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caldwell misses with a two punch combination.
Jimmy Caldwell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caldwell scores with a jab. Becker acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Caldwell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Becker circles away quickly and effectively.
Becker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Caldwell avoids it really well and circles away.
Becker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Caldwell but Caldwell pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Becker slips under a jab from Caldwell.
Becker avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Becker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Caldwell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Becker somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boris Becker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Becker shoots in for a double leg but Caldwell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Becker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


It looks like Boris Becker has been cut.

Caldwell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Caldwell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caldwell misses with a few strikes there.
Becker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Caldwell swivels and escapes.
Caldwell getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Caldwell lands with a good body shot.
Becker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Caldwell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Becker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Becker misses with the ground and pound.
Caldwell is looking to reverse the position.
Caldwell is trying to control Becker's posture but Becker avoids it.

Caldwell tries to improve position but can't.
Becker prevents Caldwell from escaping the position.

Becker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Who's going to make the next move?
Becker is trying to ground and pound but Caldwell uses the momentary lack of control by Becker to regain half guard.
Becker passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caldwell takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Caldwell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Becker goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Caldwell is on top in guard.
Caldwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Becker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Becker has an active guard here but Caldwell has managed to pass into half guard.
Becker is looking to improve his position.

Becker actively working from the bottom here.
Becker is looking for a sweep. Caldwell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Caldwell in particular looking to stall.
Becker is refusing to be controlled, as Caldwell sits in half guard.
Becker is trying to maintain the position but Caldwell is very close to passing his half guard.
Caldwell looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Becker looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Still in half guard, Caldwell seems content to control.
Becker manages to get to full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Becker has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Caldwell doesn't defend quickly enough and Becker has managed to lock this one up! Can Caldwell escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Becker on a fantastic submission victory.

Boris Becker really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Bushido Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
