Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Pokraniac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Mastodon - Curl of the Burl. Pokraniac has chosen Tango from Poland as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pokraniac's waist but Pokraniac gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Eriksson off to one side.
Eriksson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pokraniac as he avoids it easily.
Eriksson shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikael Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Pokraniac counters with a nice body kick.
Eriksson is breathing heavily.

Pokraniac has closed the distance and engaged Eriksson in a clinch.
Pokraniac has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Eriksson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pokraniac avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pokraniac pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Pokraniac has closed the distance and engaged Eriksson in a clinch.
Eriksson jumps guard but Pokraniac turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pokraniac wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Pokraniac is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Eriksson can't fight it off and eventually Pokraniac manages to take the fight to the floor. Eriksson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Eriksson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pokraniac must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pokraniac stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Eriksson throws a lazy head kick
and Pokraniac counters with a slapping leg kick.

Pokraniac instigates a clinch.

Pokraniac tightens his grip and picks Eriksson up, before dumping him to the ground. Eriksson manages to land in guard.
Eriksson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eriksson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pokraniac gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Eriksson keeping moving, preventing Pokraniac from controlling successfully.

Eriksson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Pokraniac throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Eriksson's body to avoid the submission. Eriksson has instead reached around Pokraniac's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Eriksson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
