Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommi Kaleva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donaldo Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaleva comes to the ring accompanied by Fort Minor - Remember The Name. Souza has chosen Sex Dwarf as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donaldo Souza!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Souza leaves Kaleva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kaleva shoots in but Souza avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Souza changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kaleva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kaleva is trying to improve his position.
Souza is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kaleva will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Kaleva is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Souza is controlling him well.

It looks like Souza might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kaleva has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Souza is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Kaleva with him. Kaleva is trying to defend but Souza has an arm under the chin now! Kaleva grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Donaldo Souza!
After the fight, Donaldo Souza was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
