The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metwursti lands with a shot to the body.
Good leg kick by Metwursti there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mjo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Metwursti counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mja Mjo has been cut.
Metwursti has managed to clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Metwursti lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Mjo wants a takedown but no success here.
Metwursti lands an elbow that stopped Mjo in his tracks for a moment.
Metwursti comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Metwursti lands a right hand.
Metwursti throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Mjo takes an elbow to the forehead.

That has opened up Mja Mjo's cut even more.
Metwursti drops Mjo with a big knee straight up the middle! Mjo is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Metwursti has managed to clinch.
Mjo is still on wobbly legs! Can Metwursti finish him?
Metwursti lands with a left to the head.
Metwursti pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Mjo! Metwursti unloads with more strikes and Mjo sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marko Metwursti!
Marko Metwursti bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
