Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuhrimao misses with a wild combination.

Kuhrimao closes the distance and clinches.
Kuhrimao is trying to break the clinch but Strong has him pressed against the cage.

Kuhrimao breaks from the clinch.
Kuhrimao tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Strong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kuhrimao swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kuhrimao circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kuhrimao avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Strong fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Strong has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kuhrimao sneaks back into half guard.
Strong slows the pace down in half guard.
Strong trying to control the action but Kuhrimao is working from the bottom.

Strong is stalling here. Kuhrimao is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Strong seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kuhrimao has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strong sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Strong regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kuhrimao.
Strong utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuhrimao throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kuhrimao trying to stand up but can't free himself from Strong's guard.
Kuhrimao advances to half guard.

Kuhrimao seems to be looking for submissions.
Strong moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kuhrimao wanted to stand there but Strong had control of the position.
Kuhrimao working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kuhrimao wants to get up but he can't break Strong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kuhrimao postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kuhrimao has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Joerome Strong will probably get the nod.

Strong tries to clinch up.
Kuhrimao circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kuhrimao closes the distance and pushes Strong back into the cage.
Strong with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Kuhrimao's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Joerome Strong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kuhrimao misses with a double jab
letting Strong counter with a right hand.
Kuhrimao shoots in looking for a takedown. Strong tries to sprawl out of it but Kuhrimao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Strong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Strong stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kuhrimao misses with the body kick
and Strong counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Kuhrimao! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Strong!
