Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson's entrance music is Metallica Whisky in the jar . A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson fails with the takedown.

Nelson moves into range and clinches up with Li.
Nelson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Li avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Nelson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Li is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Nelson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Li regains guard immediately.

Nelson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Li swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nelson leaves Li with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
