Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Ilijito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Bakowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ilijito or perhaps it was just good defense by Bakowski which made him look bad.
Ilijito scores with a sloppy right hand. Bakowski should have avoided that one.
Ilijito looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Ilijito. Those never looked like landing.

Ilijito gets caught flat footed, as Bakowski shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bakowski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ilijito wants to stand and escape but Bakowski is having none of it.

Bakowski stands up and waves to Ilijito to follow him.
Bakowski tries for a takedown but Ilijito sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ilijito could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ilijito throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bakowski gets a double leg takedown into Ilijito's guard.
Ilijito is breathing heavily.
Bakowski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Bakowski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bakowski moves into full mount! Ilijito won't be happy about that!

Bakowski cracks Ilijito with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bakowski is landing with some decent strikes but Ilijito is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bakowski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ilijito looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bakowski loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Ilijito scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Bakowski land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Bakowski stands and salutes the crowd.
