Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piru Parka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Parka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to . Bob is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - TNT. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Piru Parka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Big Bob!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bob throws out the jab.
Bob stalks Parka and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Parka's face. Parka staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Piru Parka has been cut.
Parka tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bob was well out of range. Poor timing from Parka.
Bob checks a leg kick.
Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bob connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bob uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Parka.
Parka throws a big shot that misses.
Bob cracks Parka with an open hand slap.
The fighters circling - Parka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bob throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bob connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parka momentarily.
Parka throws a shot from downtown. Bob moves away and avoids it.

Parka is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bob's half guard.

Parka thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bob's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bob defends it well.
Parka tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bob knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Parka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bob might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Parka kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Parka passes Bob's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Bob is looking to control Parka's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bob avoid being mounted?

Parka is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bob reverses the position - he's now on top in Parka's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Big Bob hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Bob manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Parka manages to get himself to full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Parka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Parka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Parka might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Parka passes Bob's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Parka is working for a kimura but Bob is defending it quite comfortably.
Bob wants to control but Parka is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Parka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bob is pressing down on Parka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Parka throws a strike but Bob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Parka uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bob tries to move into range but Parka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


It looks like Big Bob has been cut.

Parka throws a front kick aimed at Bob's knee but Bob avoids it well.
Bob throws out a loose jab but Parka uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bob scores with the left hand. Parka knows he should have avoided that one.
Bob throws a nice inside leg kick.
Parka throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease.
Bob cracks Parka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bob missing with a left hand there. Parka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Parka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bob to the mat! Bob manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bob wants to sweep here but Parka controlling him for the moment.
Parka wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Big Bob was stalling too much, according to the referee.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Parka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bob throws a jab but it's blocked by Parka.
Bob leaves Parka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Parka moves forwards but Bob connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bob looks to score with a jab to the body but Parka is just out of range.
Parka lands with a good body shot.
Parka pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bob ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Parka moves forwards but Bob connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Bob connects with a crisp jab.
Bob feints a jab promting Parka to slip. Bob then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Parka slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Parka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bob misses with a hook.
Parka misses with a lunging right hand
and Parka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Parka gets a double leg takedown into Bob's guard.
Parka postures up.
Bob is pulling down on Parka's head. It's preventing any offense from Parka, at least for the moment.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bob. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Big Bob has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Parka on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bob. Bob obviously looking to wear him down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bob uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Parka.

Bob lands a left and a right that send Parka crashing to the mat, dazed. Bob thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Parka is rocked!
Parka switches off momentarily and Bob cracks him with a monster right hand! Parka topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Bob dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Bob!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Big Bob!
