Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaliy Kleva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynamite Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist throws a series of punches but Kleva moves out of range.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kleva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Fist throws a punch but it's blocked by Kleva.

Kleva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Fist blocks it with crossed arms.
Fist is pressed up against the cage. Kleva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fist down to the mat. Fist avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kleva lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kleva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Fist smiles and moves away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kleva here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Fist might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fist feints a jab promting Kleva to slip. Fist then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kleva slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Kleva counters with a crisp one two that drops Fist! Kleva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fist to his feet! Fist is in big trouble!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Kleva counters with a head kick that drops Fist to the mat! Fist scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Kleva clinches up with Fist and pushes him back against the cage.

Kleva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kleva duly obliges.

Kleva moves into range and clinches up with Fist.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dynamite Fist wasn't active enough on the ground.

and Kleva counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Kleva fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fist avoids it really well and circles away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fist trying to hold on to Kleva's head to control him but Kleva postures up.

Kleva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kleva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fist with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vitaliy Kleva.
Well Kleva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
