Oooh a lovely combination from Velazquez sends Severe down but not out. Velazquez dives into side control looking to finish.

Severe is rocked!

It looks like Dan Severe has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Velazquez wants to stand but Severe has his arm trapped.
Oh Severe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Velazquez decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Velazquez feints a jab and as Severe dips his head, Velazquez unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Severe right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Severe falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Velazquez smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

A very excited looking Alistair Velazquez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
