Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Whitepride Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Kronik as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Whitepride Velasquez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Whitepride Velasquez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whitepride Velasquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Adams!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez lands with a kick to the temple. Adams shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Brian Adams has been cut.
Velasquez lands with a shot to the body.
Adams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Adams clinches.
Velasquez working Adams over with knees to the body.
Velasquez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Adams tries to clinch but Velasquez moves out of range.
Velasquez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Adams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Velasquez!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Velasquez is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Velasquez is in a horrible position here. Adams smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velasquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Adams is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Velasquez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Velasquez shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Adams might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Brian Adams hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Velasquez stuffs the takedown.
Crunch! Velasquez slams his shin into Adams's torso.
Velasquez looks for the body kick but Adams saw that one coming.
Velasquez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adams moves away.
Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Velasquez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.
Velasquez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Velasquez lands with an overhand left.
Adams walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Velasquez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Adams.
Whitepride Velasquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Adams.
Adams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Velasquez.

Adams darts in and clinches Velasquez up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Velasquez has Adams pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Adams manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Velasquez throws a lazy right hand but Adams sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Velasquez.
Adams feints and as Velasquez raises his hands in defense, Adams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Adams wants to control from the top but Velasquez keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Whitepride Velasquez will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Brian Adams's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Velasquez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Whitepride Velasquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Adams.
Adams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Velasquez throws a right hand that Adams ducks under and follows up with a left that Adams also avoids with ease.
Adams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Velasquez.
Adams looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Velasquez is looking for a sweep. Adams is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Adams wants to stand but Velasquez has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Adams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Velasquez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adams has managed to get both his arms back between Velasquez's legs - danger averted.

Velasquez has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Adams. Oh but Velasquez has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Adams goes limp - he's gone! Velasquez jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
