PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sudo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Armour Of God Thème. Bunga is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nova. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gonzo Bunga!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bunga is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sudo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sudo closes the distance and clinches up with Bunga, looking for a takedown. Sudo pushes Bunga against the cage but Bunga circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sudo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bunga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sudo working the ground and pound but Bunga is defending the strikes.
I wouldn't like to be where Bunga is right now.

Sudo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sudo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bunga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sudo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bunga is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sudo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Sudo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Sudo or perhaps it was just good defense by Bunga which made him look bad.

Aoki Sudo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gonzo Bunga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Sudo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
