The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes throws a right and a left that Dude avoids nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fernandes is defended easily by Dude.
Fernandes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Fernandes shoots in for a double leg but Dude sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Superman Dude has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bibiano Fernandes.
Dude gets tackled into the cage by Fernandes. Fernandes maintains the clinch.
Dude stalling in the clinch but Fernandes improves position.
Fernandes tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dude's elbow.
Dude tries to work over Fernandes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dude lands a shot to the body.
Fernandes manages to pull guard.
Dude could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dude is sitting in close to Fernandes's body. Fernandes has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Dude is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Dude is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fernandes.
