Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zak Zinfandel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salocin Zerep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zerep misses with an uppercut.
Zinfandel tries to land a front kick but Zerep steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Salocin Zerep seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Zinfandel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zerep swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Zinfandel is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Zerep is trying to escape and Zinfandel transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Zerep is forced to tap! Nice work there by Zinfandel! Very nice indeed!
