PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mato Cicak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khal Drogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drogo has chosen Immigrant song - Trent Reznor Karen O as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Drogo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cicak to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Drogo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cicak is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Drogo is trying to keep Cicak in close.

Drogo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Cicak shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Drogo's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mato Cicak.
Cicak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drogo circles away quickly and effectively.
Cicak tries to clinch there but Drogo circles away.

Cicak shoots in and bounces Drogo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Cicak controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Cicak's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Drogo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cicak, pushing him back against the cage.

Cicak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Drogo defends it easily.
Drogo throws a big right hand that misses.
Cicak keeping moving, preventing Drogo from controlling successfully.

Cicak is working hard here to advance position.

Cicak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Cicak stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Drogo.
Cicak will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A combination from Cicak does no damage.
Drogo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Cicak throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Drogo circles away from the clinch attempt.

Drogo thows a body kick. Cicak tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Cicak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Drogo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cicak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drogo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Drogo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cicak swivels and escapes.
Drogo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cicak sprawls well. Cicak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Drogo gets slowly back to his feet.

Cicak is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Drogo can do to turn this around?
