Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Kalina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Michel Teló - Ai Se Eu Te Pego . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Kalina.
Kalina stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Kalina sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kalina defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xavier Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kalina looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kalina to the ground. Gracie is now in Kalina's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kalina working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kalina pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.
Gracie postures up and lands a big shot to Kalina's brow.
Gracie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kalina not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alexey Kalina wasn't active enough on the ground.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Kalina.
Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kalina dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Gracie takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Xavier Gracie has been cut.
Kalina shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kalina wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kalina gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kalina content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Gracie has locked up a guillotine! Gracie's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kalina is holding on here and Gracie must be using up a lot of energy. Kalina has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Gracie gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Xavier Gracie!
After winning the bout, Xavier Gracie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
