Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Johnstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enrico Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vargas misses with a head kick.
Johnstone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vargas avoids it really well and circles away.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Vargas content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Johnstone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Johnstone has momentary wrist control but Vargas slips an elbow through the middle.

Vargas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Johnstone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vargas has managed to get both his arms back between Johnstone's legs - danger averted.
Johnstone wants to stand but Vargas is controlling the position.

Oh Johnstone is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnstone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnstone tries to get out of the position.
Vargas winds up and cracks Johnstone with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Vargas is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Johnstone is hurt! He's hurt bad - Vargas fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Johnstone from any more punishment! Congratulations to Vargas! Great finish!

In his post fight interview, Enrico Vargas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
