Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Retso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slide's entrance music is Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slide misses with a takedown attempt
and Retso counters with a one-two to the body.
Retso swinging wildly here.
Slide fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Retso shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Slide napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Retso connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Slide some visible discomfort.
Slide is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Retso scores with punches from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Slide is looking to regain half guard here but Retso keeps moving and retains side control.

Retso has hold of Slide's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Slide tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Retso cranks the arm and Slide screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Slide, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
