Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Nabob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marsh's choice of entrance music: The Fight Song. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Stan Marsh enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steven Nabob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh misses with a lunging right hand
and Nabob counters with a nice uppercut.
Marsh ducks under a wild hook from Nabob.
Marsh scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marsh scores with a jab to the jaw.
Nabob shoots in for a takedown but Marsh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stan Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nabob closes the distance and clinches up with Marsh, looking for a takedown. Nabob pushes Marsh against the cage but Marsh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Marsh lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Nabob backs up against the cage.


It looks like Steven Nabob has been cut.

Nabob scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Nabob ducks right into an uppercut from Marsh.

Marsh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Marsh throws a one two combo.
Marsh moves in looking to clinch but Nabob pushes him off.
Marsh looks to land a combination but Nabob avoids it well.
Marsh lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Marsh moves into range and clinches up with Nabob.
Marsh cracks Nabob with a nice body shot.
Nabob throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nabob can't get the takedown.

Nabob drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Marsh gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Marsh's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Marsh duly obliges.

Marsh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Nabob.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marsh darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nabob moves out of range of the strikes.

Marsh darts in and clinches Nabob up against the cage.
Nabob lands a left hand that snaps the head of Marsh backwards.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nabob tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marsh smiles and moves away.
Nabob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Marsh dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steven Nabob's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Marsh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marsh wants it to stay on the feet.
Nabob throws a jab but it's blocked by Marsh.
The fighters circle momentarily. Marsh darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Marsh lands a jab to the head.
Marsh is looking to slow Nabob down with leg kicks.
Marsh lands with a hook. Nabob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nabob takes one to the chin there.
Sloppy strikes from Marsh. Those never looked like landing.
Nabob fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Marsh avoids it really well and circles away.
Marsh cracks Nabob with a good jab.

Nice sprawl there from Marsh as Nabob shoots in.

Marsh connects with a leg kick. Nabob looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Marsh's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nabob under the eye.
Marsh lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Marsh scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Nabob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nabob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Marsh closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Marsh scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nabob takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Marsh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nabob stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nabob misses with a leg kick
and Marsh counters with a nice uppercut.
Nabob avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marsh throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nabob stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Marsh loads up on a big right hand but Nabob slips the punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nabob can't find room to land a body shot as Marsh controls the action.

Nabob is looking for a takedown.
Marsh working hard to break the clinch.
Marsh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Nabob manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Marsh controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Marsh must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Nabob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marsh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nabob is looking for a triangle but Marsh pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Marsh lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Marsh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nabob's hands.
Marsh wants to clinch.
A slow jab from Nabob misses its intended target.
Nabob gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Marsh.
Marsh jabs Nabob to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Marsh tries to clinch there but Nabob circles away.

Marsh closes the distance and clinches.

Marsh managing to block the knees to the body from Nabob.

Nabob has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Marsh is trying to keep an underhook but Nabob manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marsh tries to get to full guard but Nabob has control of the leg.
Nabob lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Nabob stops Marsh from getting back to his feet.
Nabob throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nabob working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nabob lands a nice short elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marsh is staying active underneath Nabob, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Nabob thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marsh's head.
Steven Nabob overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nabob lands a nice shot to the head.
Marsh tries to hold on but Nabob postures up.
Marsh blocking the ground and pound.
Nabob is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Marsh can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Nabob sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Stan Marsh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Marsh tries to lock up and control but Nabob gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Marsh is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Nabob jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Marsh manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Nabob goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Marsh rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nabob's guard! Nice work there by Marsh!

Steven Nabob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Nabob working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marsh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marsh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Nabob throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
